People in Durham are preparing for as much as half an inch of ice accumulation in the coming hours. The county is under a winter storm warning until 7 AM Friday, February 19. Durham Public Schools has cancelled all in-person and remote events for tomorrow, Thursday, February 18. Duke Energy is preparing to respond to as many as 1 million power outages in the path of the storm.
