Satire: How to survive Durham’s ever-changing weather

As the weather is drastically changing, it can be hard to prepare for Durham’s weather. The Pirates’ Hook created a step-by-step guide on what to do:

Step 1: Before walking out the house, grab the biggest coat you own. Even if the weather channel says it’ll be 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside, there is a 99.9999 percent chance that a snow storm will hit.

Step 2: To avoid freezing to death whilst walking to your car, preheat it to approximately 100 degrees before getting in and sprint at full speed when it’s time to go.

Step 3: Always carry hot packs, as many as possible. The aggressive wind will beat you red and push you down. (PSA also bring the grippiest of grippy shoes)

Step 4: Make sure around lunch time to have a change of clothes with you because sweater weather will turn to shorts and baby tee weather.

Step 5: For bed, find your fuzziest socks and your biggest blankets to sleep with. Beware because you will wake up in the morning in a hot sweat.
