The Riverside varsity football team fell to the South View Tigers last Friday night. Despite their unfortunate loss, the Riverside student section cheered them on in neon colors.

The varsity football team stands for the national anthem. The Pirates are currently 1-2 .
Wide receiver Mitchel Bonner (17), runs the ball across the field. Bonner is a senior at Riverside.
The Pirates run onto the field, officially starting the game. Friday was their first home game of the season.
The South View Tigers tackle Bonner. The Tigers are currently 3-0 .
Riverside’s student section cheers on the Pirates. The theme for last Friday’s game was “Neon Night.”
Michael Allen (19) contests a pass. Allen is a Junior at Riverside.
The South View Tigers tackle senior Jaden Butler (1) as Cole Schweitz (2) looks on. Butler plays tight end and defensive end.
The Pirates fight for possession over the ball. The Pirates play South Granville this Friday.
Riverside’s defensive line prepare for the Tiger’s attack. South View was Riverside’s third non-conference opponent of the season.
Michael Allen (19) runs the ball down the field. Allen has a total of 144 receiving yards this season.
