Airpods:If you read this you’re big ballin’

No they don’t fall out. No I don’t speak broke. Yes I am rich!

For all these reasons and more, you can trust me when I say AirPods are not the enemy.

Regular people: *breaths*

People with AirPods: “No they don’t fall out.”

Airpods are not made with gummy ear-tips, like many other earphones, which creates a tight seal. Although they are not equipped with this feature and are made out of hard plastic, Airpods still provide a nice a snug fit. If you are just missing the tight seal of other earphones you can buy silicone ear tips that still fit in the AirPods charging case, but even without the tips Airpods fit in most ear’s great.

“My AirPods haven’t fallen out yet and I’ve been running with them for a few months now,” said sophomore Jahna Davis.

The sticker price for Airpods is 159 dollars and after tax it’s a bit north of 170 dollars. With price being a big concern AirPods. Surprisingly, AirPods are one of the cheapest fully wireless earphones on the market.

“Get your coin and come get some,” said senior Marco Hovey.

Bose SoundSport Free wireless headphones are 199.95 dollars. Personally, I don’t think it is worth it. With that price tag you would expect much more than the headphones, right? Well that’s really not the case. The SoundSport Free headphones only have better sound cancelling because of the gummy ear tips and water resistance. Why spend the extra money and not be social accepted in society, and actually be able to talk to other people with Airpods because you don’t speak broke.

With a seamless pairing between all of apple devices, a charging case that offers up to 24 hours of battery life, being able to withstand the washing machine, and having incredible range AirPods are definitely well worth the money.

  1. That meme was everything! LOL

I got mine as a gift for Christmas 2018, and they’re still going strong. I use them all the time too, I’m actually very surprised by how well they have held up given how reckless I’m with them. I plan on replacing them if/when they break; Apple gets you no matter what. *sigh*

I refuse to give up my iPhone 5SE tho so I feel less exploited by the Apple-Crack 🙂
